“Hola!” to our correspondents!

Spanish speakers can welcome their Iberian acquaintances and friends in different ways: “Bienvenido”, “Buenos días”, etc. At OMONIA TRANS, we decided to welcome our correspondents from Spain with a big “¡Hola!”, giving our all for their hospitality!

In the tradition of strengthening relations with our correspondents in various European countries, and after the exemplary hospitality of our Dutch and Slovak partners, in October it was the turn of our Spanish guests.

Starting from Alicante, an important economic and commercial center, and one of Spain's most historic ports in the Mediterranean, our correspondents found in Athens, Piraeus and Thessaloniki, a similar climate and history. What else did they find? Common ground with OMONIA TRANS for development and evolution of our common lines. We continue together, even stronger.

Vamos!

A Conference of records!

The 6th Infrastructure & Transport Conference (ITC 2023) was successfully held from September 17 to 20, 2023. This conference, initially launched in 2017 by the websites ypodomes.com and metaforespress.gr, has now solidified its status as a key institution in the infrastructure and transport sector.

The conference events unfolded across various venues, including the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, the Athens Conservatory, and also featured a hybrid format. Over 75 distinguished speakers, such as the Minister of Infrastructure & Transport, Christos Staikouras, the American Ambassador in Greece, George Tz. Tsounis, and the Deputy Minister of Environment & Energy, Alexandra Sdoukou, among others, shared their insights.

This year’s conference surpassed all previous records in terms of participation and attendance. Over the course of four days, it drew more than 1.200 delegates and over 10.000 online visitors. Sixteen comprehensive sessions delved into critical topics within the construction and transport industries. Notably, the conference hosted 18 exhibition stands at its premises.
We ran for a good cause!

At OMONIA TRANS we are “running” 24/7 for the needs of our customers, taking care of their wishes and needs, from the smallest to the largest. We are also running tοwards the new highly digitalized era of our company. But on Sunday October 1st, we laced up our trainers and ran again, this time for a good cause!

Specifically, the OMONIA TRANS team, numbering more than 12 members, participated in the 15th Greece Race for the Cure, the largest sporting event aimed at raising public awareness of breast cancer in Greece and the second largest event in Europe.

Together with 44.000 of our fellow human beings who ran and walked with us, we participated in the fundraising and awareness effort, and conveyed the message that TOGETHER we are much stronger than breast cancer.

We will be at the 16th Greece Race for the Cure too, scheduled for September 2024. We’re asking you to join us!

Kind regards, OMONIA TRANS team.
WE HANDLE - WE CARE.
