Easter Rebirth

OMONIA TRANS has maintained a longstanding partnership with the Association of Parents & Friends of Autistic People “Anagennisi” (which means “Rebirth”), a relationship that traditionally reaches its peak during the Easter season. This year is no exception, as our company proudly supports a heartwarming initiative.

Specifically, the “Anagennisi” Association will participate in Easter bazaars held in the Municipalities of Maroussi and Pefki, showcasing the creations of Anagennisi children, including lamps, pots, baskets, and table candles. OMONIA TRANS has covered the costs of procuring the necessary raw materials for these creations, ensuring the Association’s participation in the bazaars.

Founded in 2003 by parents and friends of autistic children, the “Anagennisi” Association is dedicated to advocating for the equal rights of individuals with autism. Alongside recreational and sports programs, the Association operates two shelters offering supported living.

Greece through TTFP 2.0: Gateway to the Western Balkans and Central Europe

TTFP 2.0, orchestrated by the World Bank, is a cross-border initiative focused on enhancing trade and transportation facilitation. Its goal is to foster economic development in the Western Balkans and promote their alignment with the European Union's single market.

But, beyond the countries of the Western Balkans, the TTFP 2.0 (Trade & Transport Facilitation Project) will offer significant benefits to our country as well, as it gives the tools to position Greece as a gateway for containers between Central Europe and intercontinental markets.

If Greece can respond to the investments that will be made by TTFP 2.0 with its own infrastructure upgrade, improvement of existing IT systems and equipment upgrades, the positive effects will be great. The opportunity is important and should not be missed.
