Opening new roads... literally!

Choosing the area of Lykovrysi as OMONIA TRANS’' operational base was a strategic decision. Its direct connection to the National Highway and Attiki Odos enabled us to serve the commercial heart of the Athens metropolitan area more efficiently, offering greater flexibility and faster response times.

Today, at this key transportation hub, we continue to invest in projects that create even greater value for the region. Most recently, we fully financed the construction of a new two-way access road leading directly to our facilities, with the approval and support of the Municipality of Lykovrysi–Pefki.

This project provides safer and faster access for heavy vehicles, improves traffic flow, and enhances the functionality of a critical point in our day-to-day operations.

Facilities taken to the next level!

The continuous development of our facilities is an integral part of OMONIA TRANS’ growth strategy. Every investment we make shares a common objective: enhancing safety, efficiency, and the quality of the services we provide.

As part of this commitment, we recently completed a full upgrade of our perimeter lighting, modernized our CCTV surveillance system, and added a new high-capacity forklift to further strengthen our cargo handling capabilities.

At the same time, we expanded the surrounding area of our Lykovrysi facilities by creating a new 3,000-square-metre truck parking area. Another investment that reinforces our operational readiness while laying the foundations for the company’s future growth.

A breath of fresh air for the Aegean!

At OMONIA TRANS, we believe business growth has real meaning only when it goes hand in hand with responsibility. That is why, for the second consecutive year, we have renewed our support for Aegean Rebreath, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting Greece’s marine environment.

Our decision to support its work once again is not a one-off initiative, but the continuation of a long-term commitment. We believe every business should create a positive impact on both society and the environment.

Through underwater and coastal clean-up operations, scientific monitoring of marine litter, microplastics research, and educational initiatives for local communities, Aegean Rebreath plays a vital role in protecting Greece’s seas and coastlines for future generations.
